The Institute for Marine and Atmospheric research Utrecht is formed by the staff of three chairs: Meteorology, Physical Oceanography and Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry doing research in five research themes: Atmospheric Dynamics , Oceans & Climate , Ice & Climate , Coastal Dynamics and Atmospheric Chemistry .

  At IMAU about 20 faculty members carry out research, give courses and supervise PhD and postdoctoral researchers.

• Master students

  IMAU provides a teaching program at master (Master program Meteorology, Physical Oceanography and Climate (MPOC)) and bachelor level. The MPOC master program is followed by about 40 students.
